A spin off of a previous thread "are foot fetish guys more romantic". I have many hobbies : basketball, flying ect but one of my favorites is giving a pretty girl oral. It's fun! I like to think that i'm an intelligent lover, and that my non foot fetish having friends are less intelligent lol. I always put my partner first...well..usually. What do you guys think. Is there a correlation? Are we as a whole better lovers? A foot massage and mixed with some toesucking followed by a slow migration north is a fun patient way to start things.

That's my approach as well. Well, actually, the toe sucking comes after I've already worked over her upper body, but I do progress up from her feet, to her legs, thighs and eventually...

I can't speak for all my foot fetish brethren out there, but I certainly feel like I am a better lover as a foot fetishist, mostly a direct result of my obsession (aka enthusiasm) that makes me want their feet so badly.
The irony in this though, is that I know I'm a selfish lover (ie. I need to get mine 1st and foremost and if she happens to get hers in that process, then I have no problem with it).
Generally speaking, that last part of what i mentioned is a recipe for disaster and it very much used to be a problem of mine before I knew how to overcome it. The key to overcoming the side effects of male sexual selfishness is to stimulate the woman excessively in other areas so that she feels more eroticism in pleasing you than she does from getting herself pleased.
It's sort of a mental trick that takes time, but it is not at all impossible. Saves alot on time too during the deed (for those of us who have more urgent things to do than physically please her).

Well from my experiences, guys who are fond of feet, aka foot fetish, tend to want to give their lover all they can, in any department. I know from my perspective, I love being committed to making her happy any way I can. From going shopping with her, to cuddling at home, to talking about anything, to laying down and watching the stars together. Anything she wants, I'd totally be up to it. No questions asked, and actually interested because I know it will make her happy.

I say we are better lovers as fetish people have an 'abnormal' or different sex drive. I tend to think that we actually have a stronger sex drive then your average leg/breast man. As this drive manifests itself in different parts of the body. As such I maintain that because we have a stronger sex drive we are more passionate and hence better lovers..

IT's a yes and no situation. more on the personality of the man involved.
i'm leaning on the yes for a few reasons.
1-because most feet lovers don't want the social stigma to be tied to their name, they will try harder to work please and mask their interst from being labelled as a fetish.. so.. they appear they're more romantic and better lovers
2- many fellas realize that by being a better lover, the odds of a yes for feet increases.. so.. they pour it on thicker ie better over time
3- by being into feet, we add a different spin on what can excite.. we include the feet on top of all the 'traditional' things.
4- many folks will attribute passion or intensity with better. we're already passionate about feet.. so... whatever we do, we do 'hardcore' mainly because when a woman is ok with us being with her feet.... we go all out!
sadly, the no part has to be considered too.. we can be very selfish wanting what we want and just the way we want it.. and if we don't.. we quickly move on. so.. for the woman who is lucky to provide us with what we want the way we want.. we're awesome and she thinks were the best lovers there can be.. for those who don't fit the bill.. we're just another jerk who was insensitive and selfish.
so.. it depends on the person. i'm a pleaser more than anything else.. but i'm not submissive. i work hard and take great pride at making someone (my wife) super happy in bed! i work hard at it. no matter if feet are involved or not. to her.. i'm a great lover (helps that we don't know anyone else as lovers)
but, i'm not the definition of a great lover though. i'm just very passionate. and i'm open to learning.
those who can learn those who can pay attention and those who can adjust will rise to be the best lovers a woman can be with (no matter the fetish or lack there of)

As for the quote I copied from your reply - do you give the woman a chance to at least learn...what if she's trying to use her feet and learn to engage your FF? Do you still just quickly move on? I guess this part hit a cord in me...maybe a little close to home --
