ok, im feeling pretty good about my foot fetish now! my girlfriend knows all about it and i enjoy expressing it with you guys on here. i'm affraid to really tell anyone else as i have a large network of friends and i'm worried about getting a reputation as a weirdo.
Then on the other hand, i have heard some awesome stories from people on here telling how accepting people can be, or that they dont really see it as a big deal, or even better play on the fact that they have a foot fetish showing off their feet etc.
i don't know whether this would be a good thing for me to boost my foot fetish confidence as i find it exciting as a secret but it may release a weight from my shoulders! thought about telling a couple of my close pals on a night out drinking this saturday, i know they wont really care as they are awesome frineds, but i dont wanna be made fun of! what do you guys think?

You'll probably get a ribbing from them especially out on a Saturday night of drinking. Although your buds will probably not really care after that.
I myself don't make a point of announcing it to everyone. There are friends that know, but it doesn't make it into conversation since they aren't into it themselves.
The only ones that should know are your female friends. That opens the doors for amazing opportunities!

good points, cheers ledaemon. now you mention it i cant see much reason why my mates shoould know. i see a lot of people talk of being really open about it on here.
i can learn to be more open about it but telling my mates would be asking to be made fun of!

I totally agree! I find that there's really no need for male friends to know about it so I don't even bring it up around them. However, female friends are a completely different story and, as LeDaemon said, it can potentially open up doors to some great opportunities and experiences.

It has been my experience that if a woman is comfortable with you, the odds of getting footplay increase dramatically and there's no need to make this big confession by saying, "I have a foot fetish." I have never had any bad experiences with letting a woman know about my foot fetish. I was embarrassed the first time I told a woman about my fetish, but she thought it was neat and I totally changed her view about her own feet. With my friends I'm pretty open about it. They might make a joke, but I just reply that they love humps that milk babies, and we tend to come to a sort of agreement there. Lol. Point is, don't worry about it. If you act like it's weird, then that's the respones you're going to get, act like it's normal, and chances are, they will, too.
