In my attempt to find charts or bio of tall actresses (mainstream and adult) regarding their shoe sizes vs height I bumped into this interesting article about "Feet Attractivenss". It a cross-cultural Thesis with samples and charts, and questionaries whether males find either big or small feet attractive.
If you are interested to learn something more thorough and in-deep analysis read it.

It's interesting but.....too "doctorish" for me. I would never rate feet or women attractiveness basing my judgement on drawings !! You can have an ugly woman with beautiful feet and viceversa. I always look at the ensemble.

It's a pretty interesting research. I'm surprised that a research to this extent was even done.

I agree with you that the research based in drawings themselves would have been a biased one considering the idea that a drawing cannot depict so much vividly the essence of a female foot unless you are VanGough or Renoir themselves
Anyway, having fully read this assignment I would think that it would be more explicit or provocative to show bare female feet from photos rather than a drawing. Remember that this a multi-cultural approach and probably the researchers wouldnt want to threaten people's ethics or beliefs on that matter.
If I were them I d surely would have used real photographic material just to push the subjects' minds a little further in what they are just seeing. I m thinking of doing it as part of a project of mine in female feet preference regarding psychlogy and the mind. But I assume it needs time to do it.
Anyway, whether it is too much intellectual or not I enjoyed reading it.

An interesting experiment and results. Keep in mind of course that they are trying to ascertain generic sexual attractiveness over many varied cultures with respect to the size of feet alone, no other factors- which to us feet guys, leaves a LOT out.

As long as there is an official reference from an educational point of view to female feet... I m happy even if they have to leave many FF angles and views out. You dont get too many of these researches quite so often.
