I've never been an STP fan but I love Skid Row so it's too bad Bach didn't get the job. I haven't heard that much VR yet as I'm just getting into them but I like what I'm hearing.

I just watched a show on VHI "the rise of Velvet Revolver"

We are all wrong [Thud]

They auditioned no-bodies for nine months with no success.

Weiland was the first "rock star status" singer they took a shot on..pardon the pun..

If you guys/girls get a chance to see the show, it's really good.

Nice one. I was watching VH1 on Saturday with a footgal friend of mine and on came the video of Johnny Cash & Willie Nelson performing "Ring of Fire" in front of the intimate live studio audience on VH1 Storytellers. They didn't do "I Walk the Line" during that show, but there were moments of some real nice chemistry there between Willie and the Man in Black. Good stuff, check it out if you get the chance as they re-run video outtakes from that performance pretty often.

Im a big fan of The man in black myself. There will be a movie released to theaters in Nov. which will tell the story of his life. Johnny Cash will be played by Joaquin Phoenix, and Reese Witherspoon will play June Carter Cash. you can see the trailer here if your interested. "WALK THE LINE" Looks good! [Thumbs Up]

We saw the previews for that Sunday when we went to the movies. Looks like it'll be a good one!

BTW Sasha, ain't you a little young to be listenin' to UFO? You must've had rocker parents that played old LPs to you instead of singing lullabys.

LOL, if she's too young to be digging on UFO, then what's my excuse for rockin' out to Benny Goodman and his orchestra over here? My parents used to regularly play 8-track tapes of Neil Diamond & the Village People when I was a kid, so I'm all messed up altogether!
