Just started this game. Picked it up yesterday $24 (pre-owned) and started playing it last night. Pretty trippy. Seems as if the whole land is infested or plagued. Also it seems like one big massive side mission of the original game. Sorta like 'The Simpsons haloween special' or somewhat.
Only played a couple hours but thoughts so far; It's pretty repetetive beating the same standard characters reminding me of the Arcade game FINAL FIGHT where you fight the same lower characters over and over while only the semi bosses and main bosses are significantly different. I know it happens in alot of games but there are so many of them. Ammo and all else is scarce so I'm melee attacking alot to conserve. I feel more on the backfoot,,, Instead of being on the attack, I feel a lil' more on the defense as in survival. Cool thing is, I have just broke in an awesome muthaf***ing ride (horse) . Still early in the game, so see what other suprises are in store.

I never got into the zombie games(this DLC included) I had the option to download this(xbox version). I'm a huge Call of Duty guy and almost all the people I play with online LOVE zombie mode and I just can't play for more then 5 minutes and get bored. To each their own lol
I even tried to branch out and bought Left for Dead 2 on the 360 and just lost interest after 10 minutes... but like I said the ppl I play with online LOVED the Undead version on Red Dead and Zombie mode for Call of Duty.

Dang finished the main story @ 66%. At the end Seth takes the mask and dissapears. I can't find him anywhere. The reason why is because I want to see the ending credits. Been googling and it turns out I ain't the only one. A few have reported to complete the game 100%, with still no ending credits and no Seth. This Sucks!
Overall this game isn't half the rating of its predecessor. Too repetetive killing over and over and not as much story, adventure or variety as. All I can say is Glads it's over. Phew

My bro plays Undead Red...it looks cool, but no real mission plan just random riding around and collecting stuff and killing straggling zombies. Could be fun though.

Loved it, much to the contrary of everyone - first recent game I managed 100% completion in.
To mix it up, you gotta do the challenges, FootLong.
Clearing out an entire town using only Tomahawks, for example, if fucking fantastic.
Hints: always give the survivors of the town some ammo (get up close to them and "talk" to them to trigger this) and after they protect the town, they'll let you loose on all their ammo chests.
Headshots. Always headshots.
If you ever want a non-game related challenge, go to Jorge's gap (it's southwest out of Armadillo) - if you follow the train tracks, it comes up on your right quite soon - you only see the name on the in-game map when you zoom in. It's only like a minute or two from Armadillo.
Anyway, yeah, so you get there, dismount from your horse and try and blast your way through the canyon with zombies fucking everywhere - very fun. maybe best saved for after you get most of the weapons and have full ammo for all.

^^Just went thruogh Jorge's Gap on foot. That was fun Hard, but fun. Head shots to the standard zombie is fine, shooting the quick ground crawlers can be a pain. My primary weapon of choice is the semi-auto pistol.
I play games as if watching a movie so I just do story modes and then dump the game. I might do the odd side mission for a breather from the story mode (commercial break per-se') or only if it helps gain an attribute(s) to help me in completion with the main story. This is just my overall perspective on games is why I like adventure or action/adventure games. Not a great fan of 1st person shooters.
