I feel like there's a massive lack of support for this event so far. Come on people! Even if you aren't coming, the least you can do is show some interest. Help those of us who really want to see this happen.

Unless I win the lottery or something there's no way I'll be able to pull this off as I have a new baby comming next month, then my wedding in April but if somehow I were to stumble upon a small fortune in the next 8 months I would certianly love to attend and even if I can't, I love to see these things happening and members of the fourms having a chance to mingle and meet up for real and stuff so I signed up if nothing else as a show of support and if I get lucky enough to hit a jackpot of somesort between now and then, well you can rest assured I'll be trying to make some sort of arrangement that would allow me to bring the Mrs. along and be there myself with freakin' bells on.

It's not just about being there. We just need to get people to sign the interest forms. The more we get, the better chance at getting funding. The least everyone here who reads this can do, is that.

I would love to attend, but I live much too far away. Still a poor college student, I can't afford to travel any further than the lines of my own state, let alone cross country
I get frustrated, I find it difficult to find any foot parties or anything of that nature in my area. I'd love to find something around here, I'm dying to go to one just to say that I've been there.

I recently got an email from Jillian saying that there's a lack of participation on the boards. If we don't get something moving, we won't have that event. If it's something you're interested in but can't attend, the least you can do is help with the planning.

Yes, it saddens me that there isn't much participation from everyone. This could be everyone's dream event, why not help plan it even if you can't attend? Help plan the perfect event!
