it is my first post here (even my first really serious post in a fetish forum) and I want to say something. When you're interested to keep reading =)
Foot fetish on the internet is a very interesting kind of adult content. It is not hardcore and it is even a very beautiful and aesthetic thing. I don't like that hardcore porn on the internet .
It is amazing how nice the community is. It is not that big but people really love what they are doing and enjoy it. Worshiping female feet have gotten a big part in my life. And I really have no problem with it. For me, as a software engineer and internet entrepreneur, it is very interesting how communities can grow.
I develop software, especially shop system for online shopping sites, blogs, and software by request. I can see that we can improve many things in the foot fetish community on the internet . We are not that big. But the dark pay is much bigger.
How can we get people to join wu's or any other community?
It depends on the person. People are not always very open-minded with their fetish. They think that their fetish is something like a habit. They got unlucky with that and maybe try to hide their fetish.
It's hard for people to admit their fetish. But it can be the best fulfillment in their sexual life. So it's our mission to all foot fetishists our there to say it is fully normal. We need more acceptance, we need to get rid of all those who say it is disgusting to lick feet.
How can a simple software engineer and you do that?
We need to develop more platforms and more open source services. We need to design beautiful and professional sites with incredible UX/UI which tells people that it is a pleasure to have a fetish for feet. The thing about 50 Shades Of Gray. Since the movie came out BDSM got much more acceptance and even new lovers of BDSM have evolved.
What do you think? Is foot fetish already widely accepted or is it still a hurdle to tell your BF or GF to have a foot fetish?

I think we need an ambassador with Celebrity status to bring it into the lime light and many will follow suit I'd think. C'mon, I know at least one of us is bound to be a celeb incognito. Fess up and rise us up out of the shadows

I'd also like to add that badassbecky is doing a wonderful job in bringing alot of comfort to those who are closeted. I think this is a great start to bring maybe the next generation into a more positive fruitful grounding to build upon and move forward

It has been a few months, but I will mention something based on my experience:
I think I am more apt to hide my foot fetish in a professional setting than a family one. I think my dad knows, for instance, but my mom would flip out and disown me if I told her. My wife's whole family knows I have one, from when my wife showed them my foot site, I ran a decade ago. During that time, my wife and I were attending all sorts of fetish events and parties, and meeting people and learning how they kept double lives as well.
For a while at work, I work for my in-laws, I even had some of the women offer to pose their feet for my website, so feet was very much a part of my life then. My wife thought it was hot, and still loves it, especially how she can just wiggle her toes out of her shoes and then gets full of pride that I am then hiding a full on erection, in public wherever we are. My wife lets me indulge in her feet and toes and even secretly lets me sniff her shoes in public, sometimes, which makes me so turned on. But, for professional, business settings, I was afraid it would affect my business.
I first started to do restaurant reviews, as a hobby job and I went into one place where the owner had a foot fetish and specifically showed me the new menu design, which had a picture of two bare legs and perfect feet in open toe heels, with the name of his bar and grill between them. It was a hot image idea. But I did pride myself in being honest and when the waitress who was to take of my comp'ed meal came over in flipflops with hot feet, I wanted to take advantage and at the same time, wanted to turn her away.
I have now been designing and selling jewelry for almost 5 years and while I have had my jewelry sell out of some high end locations, I still don't want it to be a thing that "the designer has a foot fetish. My key clients are women over the age of 50 and while I have met a few of them and they have a very free lifestyle and view of the world, there are many still who would purposefully NOT buy from someone who has anything weird about them.
I view my foot fetish as a private thing and it certainly will not cause me to have more clients. Women are not going to fill up my custom order emails with messages about how they have perfect feet and they need me to make anklets for their perfect feet. I'm not going to get women telling me how sexy toe rings look and how they want me to make some. I'm certainly not going to get, nor really want, women to approach me and tell me that if they let me touch, smell or lick their feet that they should get a 10%, 20%, or 50% off discount to my items.
I personally think that if it is a topic that comes up in general and candid conversation, then I may allude to it. I know that at times my wife is more open about it, when she chats with the nail tech while getting a pedicure or talking with the saleswoman at a show store, telling them how her husband likes feet or likes toes. But, even then, it is something that they may look at me and smile and then forget me and who I am in a few days. They won't remember me for eternity and come back and try to blackmail me, saying "hey, you are that one guy that likes feet. Can I get a better deal on this necklace?"
I guess it would just bother me more than other people. I mean, when my wife and I go out and we are all over each other, or she has her legs resting on me at the movies or is shoe playing with her heels and everyone notices that I am staring and drooling.... then it isn't that big of a deal. I guess.
Sorry, not much of an answer.
