To me this dude's (Funkyman) guitaring is really really good and this track gives me goose bumbs... Can anyone direct me to stuff like this in songs or on it's own... I digged the guitar solo by Slash in November Rain - Guns N' Roses...

Listen to the solos of David Gilmore (Pink Floyd) on Confortably Numb, a song on The Wall and Brian May may (scuse the pun) also be a safe bet. If you like it somewhat rougher, listen to Jeff Waters of Annihilator on the album Neverland, specially the song imperiled eyes. Cheers

Just heard Comfortably Numb for the first time and the David Gilmore solo is MADD!! luved it... Didn't really get into Floyd's stuff back in the day..
Heavier? "Imperiled Eyes" Awesome guitar solo but the song was a lil' too heavy for me at this point... I'll get there it's that since I've played guitar hero III that I've just got my feet wet in the rock side of things... Once this song played, felt like starting a mosh in my own room... lol
Thanks alot for these... AWESOME!!!! keep em' commin' ...please
P.S about to check out these other suggestions

I'm intrigued that all this music is totally new to you. Have you been exclusively listening to rap music for a while now?
Here's a guy just a stone's toss across from you in Australia. The John Butler Trio is his band and the dude plays crazy stuff on his 12 string acoustic guitar. Think of Jimi Hendrix meets The Red Hot Chili Peppers and that kind of describes his stuff.
