Haha...I had seen that collection before, it`s really amusing...although I must admit that some of my old hardcore/punk/grindcore albums have even worse covers.
For example, just check out the old Carcass album - "Symphonies of Sickness" [Wink]

My guess is the qualifications were that the album covers were trying NOT to be purposely bad. Any album by the band Cannibal Corpse for example would purposely be made to be really stupid and offensive. The others on here are just done because the artists and even the record company didn't have a clue.

My favorite ones are any of the family gospel ones. If Ned Flanders was to release an album his would've been modeled after one of those! [Big Grin]
