Umm... Where to start? I like almost everything, excluding most country(Just dont get into it that much)- Heavy metal, 80's metal(Metallica, megadeth stuff) Harcore metal, southern rock, some older rap, and something about eminem just gets me going. Not sure what it is, but i think it's cause everything he says has basically most truth to it, and he's notsinging about doin drugs and gettin laid all the time lol.
So here's all i can name right now. -Hardcore Chimaira Killswitch engage 40 below summer ....Wow, cant remember most of them gotta look up all my cd's. -Stoner rock(If thats what you'd call it) Incubus (LOVE Incubus since they came out) puddle of mud staind (kinda) Hooba stank Queens of the stone age Audio slave -Heavy metal Mudvayne Taproot Trapt Linkin park (? Heavy metal?) Trust company SOAD (system of a down incase some didnt know) Seven dust Seether (This goes with linkin park, not sure of category) Revis Nickleback (Same as Linkin park and seether) 3rd strike Chevelle Disturbed Godsmack Some others i cant think of... -Southern Pantera David alan coe Skynyrd Thats about all i can name for that...Kinda drawin blanks -Rap/rap-rock Limp bizkit Eminem/D12(Just hilarious haha) B.I.G 50 cent (SOME OF IT...Just tid bit) -Misc stuffs Pinkfloyd (Division bell, the wall, delicate sounds of thunder, Darkside of the moon, animals...All the CD's i have. Also a Symphonic version of Us and them which is cool) Default Tantric Saliva (forgot to name them in heavy, but they are kinda Misc anyway) John prine....Not sure anyone else has heard of him, but a good folk/country sort of single thing goin on here. Dad got me into it when i was young, plays it on the guitar alot. Dont know why, i just like some of his songs.
Thats about all for now i can think of....hehe Good music...LOL Love music.

I grew up listening to older classic stuff like Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. Then the 80`s kind of scared me with the exception of a few bands like Janes Addiction, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Faith no More, Pantera, Ministry, Metallica(until they lost Cliff)and some others. The 90`s hit and we were flooded with bands and music again, not all of it good. The Red Hot Chili Peppers brought the 90`s in with a bang! I am a bit of a purist and the recent flood of rock/rap is just killing me! True core bands like Earth Crisis, Eyehategod and Vision of Disorder keep it real. Clutch has been my favorite for a while now, they just seem to have what I need from my music. I have seen shows where the vocalist cant even finish their own songs live. Rob Zombie on the first few albums could not handle singing all the lines without losing his breath. Drowning pool as well, the song `let the bodies hit the floor` the original vocalist had the crowd sing almost all the chorus so he wont lose his voice. On the other hand, vocalists like Maynard from Tool, Serge from System of a Down, Chris Cornell from Audioslave(Soundgarden) and Brandon from Incubus have absolutely flawless and strong voices that rise far above the rest. Not to forget that the other members of these bands are some of the finest skilled musicians around. On a musically milder note, one of the top 10 modern albums is RadioHeads `OK Computer`. I have pretty much enjoyed all of the Ska and Reggea that I have heard. Some new stuff that is retro Sabbath like are `Electric Wizard` and `Sleep` I just found these bands and they make me feel like I just bought a new Black Sabbath album (in the 60`s) Hehe. If you can find a band called `Slightly Stoopid` give them a try, they are Reggea/punk/rock. I guess the main guy grew up with Noel from Sublime so you can hear some of the similarities. Rock ON! -Neo
