I've got a better one....Last year I forgot to bring them in off the porch. Elk came up onto my porch and ate most of them. We had to re-carve all 4 pumpkins.

The strangest thing we saw were solid black squirrels when we lived in North Dakota. We had no idea that black squirrels even existed...
