It has come to my attention that the vast majority of all content on Wu's is professionally done, and there seems to be a real lack of good old amateur stuff. I don't know about you, but I very much prefer it when amateur girls (i.e. random girls in public) are asked to show their feet for photos. I know people such as Cali Beach Feet are professional, but the girls he uses are all amateur which is what I like. What are your opinions on this?

Yeah. Most of the time, amateur outdoes professional.
NorCal and Cali Foot Exchange are good with this. ...I think CoedFeet would also count as amateur, since as far as I know those girls are not professional models.

Yeah and don't forget old J.R. from Collegefeetarchive.com either. The 3 you mentioned as well as CaliBeach all have live (random) and amatuer models as well as paid professionals on their sites. All are worth the money for a membership IMO...

Finally someone says it. too much pro contest here. wives, girlfriends, and friends stuff is so much sexier. Nothing sexier than a woman that just want to show her loveliness just because he feels sexy.

Joe, this concept cannot be beat! I have seen real life foot troopers like Feet n Soul, CBF, Murray from EverydayFeet, CollegeFeet, coedfeet, and Cali Feet Exchange. These are the true life blood representatives of approaching real life models on the spot. They are the top.
The type of shoots where other photographers pre-arrange their meetups just pales in comparison. Not only that, but the repetitive scenery becomes humdrum.
I really like the down home feel of the top stalwarts I mentioned who've done it right for years. Many imitators have come along since then and tried to fool the average surfer, but we are no fools. We have a fetish, not downs syndrome, and while I applaud the efforts of the many wannabes, I hope I can offer solid advice which will only help them in the future:
"Imitators, please try to find your own schtick which will make you special and unique in your own way." Each of the hall of famers who I mentioned have done a magnificent job of providing great unscripted entertainment in a way that is tied to their own themes. We need this kind of inventive and creative attitude to ring in the next generation of future real life foot troopers. Best of luck to all who will try and all who have failed, but will try again!

I've always enjoyed amateur models, but less on the candid level and more in-between. Especially those who you can tell are genuine and are in it for the fun. While I do realize that every model is different, it's very easy to tell who's in it for the fun, and who's just in it for the money. And professional models usually fall into the latter.
Sometimes, I just want to enjoy an amateur model who's having a good time with it and wants the world to see her feet. And there's just not enough of those around these days.

Yes absolutely agree on alot of "professional" ( and I use that term loosely) when I am describing some women who call themselves that I've worked with. They are usually in it for the money and most of the time the few select ones I have shot who are in this category were referred to me by another photographer when they had a group shoot set up for that girl when she was in town shooting.
Most of my models are amatuers looking to gain some fame or recognition so that they can use it as a stepping stone to something else like acting or bigger and better projects. Some are happy to do it for free, some I offer some extra cash for their time and gas...and the "professional" ones I shoot about once per year just to contribute to the community. Either way, pretty much 99.9% of my models in particular enjoyed baring their feet for my camera and truly got turned on by it or were completely nuetral towards it which is great news for Foot Lovers worldwide.

I'm not sure if there are hard and fast rules for what we refer to as "amateur" here. However, I will say that as a general rule, I prefer "girl next door" photoes to what I call "glitz and glam" style footography, though there are some notable exceptions like Feet Fair. [sic]
The Foot Punkz brand is one example of what I mean. Technically, it may be a professional site, but the content has a fun, playful, amateur feel to me. And I mean that in the best way possible!

This is exactly how I feel. I've posted stuff on here, and on other sites, of my "amateur" content, and it never gets much for comments or reviews so my models give up. If there's no love or appreciation, it's hard to keep interest for them and myself.

Agreed! This forum needs more amateur posts. Personally, I have made the effort to post many pics of my wifes feet in all sort of situations. Over the years, my posts have declined because of the lack of responses to the effort. No doubt, I enjoy posting pics, sharing my wifes sexy feet with forum members, however, I do like to read comments; some type of interaction in order to become enthusiastic about further posts. Just saying; this is what is needed more feedback. Don't know how to turn it around at this point.

Prefer the amateur stuff with everyone doing it for fun too. For me personally whenever we would go out and do the shoots in the different locations cutting up and laughing most of the time is what's going on. You can see the difference in the expressions whether the lady is having fun doing it or if its just "the foot gig" and need the dough so she can get over to "the cosplay furry gig" for her next shoot.
However, I think what makes the forum special is the balance of both the professional and amateur photographers.
